​No any Indian Bank can refuse or can stop from opening account in the bank. You just have to produce any kind of your identity and address proof. Or you can also have a right to open basis account with limited rights and services, but anyhow, somehow, you can open account for sure, and no bank can tell you NO for that.

You can visit any bank in India and can send fund to any one or to any account in India even if you do not have account with the bank that you are visiting. But in that way you can send fund only upto 50000 INR by NEFT​

No bank can force you to keep basis amount in your account if it is your basic banking account. No public or private banks in INDIA can force you for that, except you need other kind of personalized or value added services.

If you do not have any liability with your bank, and If in any case you close your account with your bank or for any reason whatsoever, you are eligible and have right to get all your assets or credit within 15 days from your bank after your request or such kind of process is over.

No bank can disturb you again and again or force you to buy any kind of third party products like loans, mutual fund or such facilities or products.

​The bank has to inform you through a clear notice before 30 days of any change in rules or regulations or terms and conditions, if any.

You have a right to get compensation from your bank if they delays the cheque clearing or giving you any kind of credit in your account. You can claim it with interest as per the normal interest charges on per annum basis.

The bank can not thump any kind of unauthorized or illegal or such kind of credit on you, you have a right to reclaim that charges or can complain also to RBI.

If bank denies or refuse to render any service or facilities to you, you have a right to know the reason for the same, and you can request the same again or complain ahead or to RBI also if not satisfied with the bank.

You holds the rights of fair treatment. No bank can make partiality as per your caste, creed, religion, age, skin color, nationality, gender, age, physical ability while offering product or services to you or any customers.
