New Delhi: Japanese carmaker Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL) on Wednesday launched the facelifted Amaze at INR 6,32,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
According to the carmaker, the sedan is powered by a 1.2L i-VTEC petrol engine and a 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engine in manual and CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) variants.
The petrol engine delivers 90PS of power at 6,000 rpm in both MT & CVT, while the diesel engine delivers max power of 100ps in MT and 80 ps at 3,600 rpm in CVT variants.
The prices for the petrol models range from INR 6.32 lakh for E MT to INR 9.02 lakh for the VX CVT variant. The diesel models start at INR 8.66 lakh for E MT and go up to INR 11.15 lakh for VX CVT.

According to the carmaker, the model’s exterior changes include sleek solid wing face front grille with fine chrome moulding lines, modern & stylish advanced LED projector headlamps with integrated signature LED DRLs, new LED front fog lamps and a redesigned front bumper lower grille for wider appearance.
The vehicle comes with DIGIPAD 2.0 – 17.7 cm touchscreen advanced display audio system. In addition, the rear camera display can show multi-views like normal view, wide view and top-down view for enhanced parking convenience in tight spots.
The car comes with a host of safety features, including an ACE body structure, standard dual SRS airbags for driver and front passenger, ABS with electronic brake distribution, ISOFIX seats, ECU immobilizer system, and a new rear multi-view camera with guidelines. In addition, the car features an automatic headlight control with light sensor, driver side window one-touch up/down with pinch guard, rear parking sensor, impact mitigating front headrests and pedestrian injury mitigation technology.
The car is available in five exterior colours such as Meteoroid Grey (new introduction), Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic and Golden Brown Metallic.
The company offers a three years unlimited kilometres warranty as a standard benefit to the customer. Customers can also opt for an extended warranty for additional two years unlimited kilometres and up to ten years anytime warranty for extra peace of mind. In addition, the car offers a low cost of maintenance with a service interval of one year/ 10,000km, whichever is earlier, HCIL said.
