Discord is a great app for texting, video chatting, and making voice calls. The platform has millions of users from different communities all over the world. Users can join groups and channels and meet with like-minded people and discuss common topics that everyone is interested in.

The app is particularly popular in the gaming community, and gamers install the app on their gaming computer and keep in touch with the entire community. However, installing the app is relatively easier than uninstalling it. There are many who report that they cannot uninstall Discord on their computers. 1. Uninstall Discord from The Control Panel

The easiest way to uninstall Discord on your computer is from the Control Panel.

Step 1: Open Control Panel from the Start menu. You can press the Windows key and type Control Panel and press Enter.

2. Delete Discord Cache

Step 1: Press Windows key and type %appdata% and press Enter key. This will open AppData> Roaming folder.

Step 2: Locate Discord folder and right-click on it. From the drop-down menu, click on Delete option.

Step 3: Again, press Windows key and this time, type %localappdata% and press Enter key. This will open AppData> Local folder.

Step 4: Locate Discord folder and right-click on it. From the drop-down menu, click on Delete option.

Step 5: Now, restart your computer and you can go and check the folders again to see if Discord folder is there or not.

3. Delete Discord from Windows Registry

After deleting Discord cache, you need to delete all Discord keys from Windows Registry Editor.

Step 1: Press Windows + R keys together and in the Run dialog box, type “regedit” and press Enter key. This will open Registry Editor.

Step 2: Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER> Software> Discord.

Step 3: Right-click on Discord folder and click on Delete option.

Step 4: Restart your computer.

These are all the steps so far that you need to take to uninstall Discord completely. However, if you still cannot delete Discord by these steps, take the following ways.

4. Delete Using An Third-Party Uninstaller

7. Use Microsoft’s Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter

Microsoft is aware of the fact that many Windows users face issues with the regular Uninstaller from the Control Panel. That is why Microsoft has come up with an external tool called Program Install and Uninstall tool. You can download the tool from Microsoft’s official website.

After downloading, install and run the program. Follow the on-screen instructions to repair all the issues in your computer so that you can install or uninstall programs. From the list, select Discord so that it can exclusively fix the issues for which you cannot uninstall it.
