While Google has decided to crawl mobile-only sites, Jordan states that it is “critical” for businesses to still maintain a good user experience for desktop. Desktops are important and are not going anywhere anytime soon. No matter the device, the experience still needs to be inclusive to the device. As technology advances, it will enable us even more.
SEOs and webmasters will need to maintain two experiences despite Google’s focus on mobile. Desktop will still bring traffic to pages and as long experiences are still being built for the ultimate user experience, it will rank.
