When it comes to measuring the performance of mobile and its relation to Google, it is not so different from how it is calculated now. Jordan dives into the KPI metrics of conversions, leads, traffic, and rankings. But the big difference in evaluating those KPIs is looking at them from a mobile lens. Another thing to consider is using your desktop as a backdrop and benchmark to your mobile metrics. Your mobile KPIs should be your focus as it will outperform all other platforms.
Optimize for mobile should be prioritized over the desktop. Even though a majority of what webmasters and SEOs do to optimize a site is on desktop, mobile is for the user experience.
