The 2021 Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) has been rescheduled from 9 May 2021 to 13 June due to a clash with the CBSE Board exam schedule that had been announced last week.
The draft press release dated today (see picture above) stated:
The Executive Committee of the Consortium of National Law Universities met on 6 th January, 2021 to consider rescheduling the date of the CLAT 2021 exam due to clashes with the CBSE Board examination schedule announced last week.
The date for CLAT 2021 has been rescheduled to Sunday, the 13th June, 2021 from 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM. The UG and LL.M. exams shall be conducted on this date.
The CBSE board exams for classes 01 and 12 are scheduled to be held from 4 May 2021 until 10 June 2021.
Those dates could potentially also cause a problem for NLU Delhi’s All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), which is set for 2 May 2021.
